Best Golf Drivers For Mid Handicappers
There’s nothing more exciting than unpacking one of the best golf drivers in the game: it’s the glam buys that help us play more and better.
If you’re a medium handicap player, you’ll probably benefit from a more forgiving driver; not necessarily a game improver, but one that gives you a little more room for error.
We tested more than 20 different controller models on the market in 2022. The video below compares performance and includes launch monitor data from our tests.
At the moment, we see a slight change from a complicated fit on the sole to more models within the range. It’s a busy market, but hopefully, this guide will help narrow the search for mid-handicapper golfers, those golfers with disabilities somewhere between their low and mid-teens.
However, that doesn’t mean they won’t attract some golfers—figure players.
Investing in a new driver is, of course, one of the most expensive products a golfer can buy, and we’ve discussed in detail whether you should buy a new driver in 2022 and looked at the pros and cons of investing in the latest models.
Our expert club testers have personally tested every model we’ve listed below, so read the total reviews if you’d like to delve deeper into any of the models we’ve chosen. Our studies include comparisons to older models and other models in the current ranges to help you decide which controller is best for your game.

In recent years, golfers have become accustomed to TaylorMade introducing new driver technology to unlock more distance from the tee.
For 2022, this promise comes in the form of an all-new carbon fiber face. To highlight this new technology, the Stealth driver’s face is red.
While this may not be to everyone’s taste, the color chosen is not too bright and is relatively recessive behind the ball. We liked it.

TaylorMade Stealth Plus Driver Review
CUSTOM MADE STEALTH PLUS DRIVER
The most attractive driver for 2022

TaylorMade has produced the Stealth Plus for the better player looking for a low spin option from the tee. This is mainly for those at the lower end of the medium handicap spectrum who want to gain as much distance from the tee as possible.
If you’re not too sure about a typical spin controller, then the standard Stealth head will suit your game better. Returning after a year out of the SIM2 range is the mobile weight placed just behind the driver’s face.
This driver is intended for faster swing golfers or those looking for a driver configuration to promote a particular shape of the shot.
As with the other heads of the family, this one has a lightweight carbon fiber face. The 10g slide weight can be placed anywhere on the driver’s head to encourage a particular type of shot form.
The Stealth Plus was the lowest launch and spin of the three new TaylorMade heads in the same loft and shaft configuration.
For us, it was also the longest, with excellent ball speed, carry, and overall distance performance. So if you like the look of the Stealth range and are looking for sheer distance from your driver, look no further.

PING G400 controller

PING G400 Driver, Men,
Right, 10.5°,
ALTA CB Graphite Shaft, Regular Flex
The PING G400 controller is suitable for a wide range of golfers. Compared to previous PING models, the G400 offers less resistance. The face is also slimmer and more flexible. However, it does not lose power thanks to the forging process performed by PING. The look is 6% thinner and 16% more flexible, depending on the brand. The goal is to give the ball more speed at the moment of impact.
Compared to previous PING controllers, you can say that the G400 controller has a more compact and forgiving design. It also has a low and deep center of gravity. These features are made possible by the Dragonfly technology used in the controller’s design.
It also offers adjustability. Users can enjoy an adjustable hosel that allows you to adjust the loft 1 degree forward or back.
The G400 is also known to have a tungsten weight in the sole that can help improve overall stability and provide optimal launch conditions for users.
So what’s not to like? The smaller size and profile can be an issue if you’re an average gamer. And besides, you will have to pay less than $500 for this club. This may not be practical for most golfers, even though it is one of the most forgiving golf driver options on the market today. For more Infomation visit Golfnitro

2020 Callaway Golf Rogue Driver

Some golfers consider the Callaway Rogue Driver the best driver for the average golfer. But is this an accurate description? First, let’s get into what you might like about Rogue Driver 2020.
First of all, it is incredibly forgiving, which is perfect for medium handicap players. Then you also have an adjustable loft that allows you to choose how you prefer to take your photo.
Callaway used Jailbreak technology which allowed this driver to promote faster ball speed by having a relatively larger clubface. Another technology used by the company is the X-Face technology which carefully analyzed the impact sites. This X-face design has a variable face thickness that has been thinned out.
Speed Step technology was also adopted not only by Callaway but also by Boeing. This helped improve airflow to promote a higher head speed.
However, the most questionable part of the Callaway Rogue is its durability. Some users noted that it cracked after just a few changes.
